Description Eyal Rozenberg 2024-10-15 20:59:48 UTC
Why do chart slices progress clockwise rather than counter-clockwise? I want a toggle, e.g. on the sidebar somewhere, for controlling that.

What makes you expecting such a switch? Is there proof from other applications that clocks tick the opposite direction for RTL languages?

Because in, say, a donut chart - there is no good reason why the items should progress clockwise rather than counterclockwise.

I don't think there's an RTL angle to this bug actually.

The setting is on tab Options in the properties dialog of a Data Series.

Excel has "clockwise" as default, LibreOffice has "counter-clockwise" as default.

You can even determine where to start in that settings.

I see no issue here.
