A screenshot example of highlighted text in dark mode.

Text highlighted in Macro Editor when dark theme is set is unreadable.

I have tested using light system theme with dark LibreOffice theme and using dark system theme with dark LibreOffice theme and have gotten the same results. I have also tested with each of the editor color schemes and have gotten the same results.

So you get a white highlight regardless of the color scheme being used? Does this happen with all schemes under View - Color Scheme?

In kf5 / kf6 this is working as expected. Maybe this bug is specific to macOS.
Comment 2 Landon 2024-10-17 09:26:13 UTC
It does happen with all color schemes.

I only explained two modes in my original comment. To be clear, this occurs on all combinations of light/dark system and LibreOffice mode except for Light/Light.

The visibility/usability of the dark-themes in general is poor… compared to for example »dark high contrast« in jupyter-notebook
