Description Marcel 2024-11-13 18:17:33 UTC
Description:
I upgraded to version 24.8.2.1 recently.
Now when I open a word document with writer from my synology NAS and in the mean time I'm transferring some files to my NAS (which occupies the complete bandwith) and wait until all transfers are complete, Writer still freezes and isn't able to regain control of the file. I have to close writer, open the file again and repair it.
In previous versions this wasn't the case.
Writer would simply gain control of the files again when network bandwith allowed it.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a file on a network share with Writer (for example a Synology NAS)
2. Transfer a large file to the same share.
3. Try to do something with the file you opened in point 1.

Actual Results:
The file opened with Writer will freeze and is not responsive anymore.

Expected Results:
I expect that Writer will regain control over the opened file when the network bandwith is restored after transferring of the file, like it did in previous versions.

Reproducible: Always
