Example file from Writer

In a read-only document, when a section is editable, it is not possible to set bullets and numbering in the editable section.

1. Set the attached document as read only on the file system, open it
2. When it is opened as read only, click in the yellow section, which is editable
3. Type something, then open the Format menu
-> Bullets and numbering item is disabled

Hello Gabor Keleme,

Thank you for reporting the bug. I can confirm that the bug is present in LibreOffice version 24.8.2.1 (current version) and in 25.2.0.0 (master build). I followed your steps and I was not able to add bullets and numbering in the editable section when the entire document is set to Read Only.

Master Build

Version: 25.2.0.0.alpha0

Checked in

Version: 25.8.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community

Now the Format - Lists -> Ordered list and Unordered List menu items are usable.

This was added in:
https://git.libreoffice.org/core/+/40436e1dfdad42690cc0cfc4781c38e5419e0dc5%5E%21

tdf#146553 Enable additonal functions in editable section while in r/o mode

Insert/Edit table, insert lists, insert AutoText
automatic spell checking

---
A small inconvenience is that the respective buttons disappeared from the Formatting toolbar - this is some new regression I believe.

The Format - Bullets and Numbering item is still disabled, but this can be fixed later with other Format -> Lists items.
