Description: removing: I reset one or more filters in Calc via the (extended) toolbar visualization 1. the line headers remain colored as if a filter were active 2. the filter symbols (column headers) indicate active filters 3. clicking on such a filter symbol shows the last filter applied expected (variants) a) the table display no longer shows any active filters after resetting the filters b) the most recently used filters are still displayed as “available” c) in case b) the row headers should not be colored / indicate an active (or available) filter Considerations 1. in case b), however, the filter icons should not look like activated filters 2. in case b), ideally two options should be directly available: - Set last filter/s again - Set other/new filter 3. in case b), I would expect the last filters to be reactivated with the “Apply filter” function (“Apply filter”) 4. does not apply, which is why I assume that it must be an incorrect display Version: 24.8.3.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 48a6bac9e7e268aeb4c3483fcf825c94556d9f92 CPU threads: 12; OS: macOS 14.7.1; UI render: Skia/Metal; VCL: osx Locale: de-CH (de.UTF-8); UI: de-DE Calc: threaded Steps to Reproduce: 1.I set 1 or more filters via the filter symbols of the column headers 2.I remove the filters via the toolbar (icon name in German: “Reset filter”) Actual Results: see above under "Description" Expected Results: see above under "Description" Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: see above under "Description" Answer to the question below "Did you try resetting your UserProfile?": no, because I have hardly used / customized the profile yet Please ask this question at the beginning of the form. Created attachment 198113 [details] 1) new filter set 'Feb 23'
Created attachment 198114 [details] 2) reset filters via toolbar
Created attachment 198115 [details] 3) filter(s) stil seem to be active (color row headers and filter icon in column header)
Created attachment 198116 [details] 4) last filter shows 'I am active'
Have you verified not to have more than one filter with part of the fields in common. BTW, no sample file attached.
ah, ok … here is an example with the same behavior (there are not multiple filter areas in the original either)

I get the error "The range does not contain column headers" What I think is the cause, then the filter is moved to start on the second line. Hidden the auto-filter for second time, then it is cleared fine. There are 3 icons: AutoFilter, Reset Autofilter and HideAutofilter. Also this optins can be found in Data - Autofilter, Data - More Filters - Reset Autofilter and Data - More Filters - Hide Autofilter. I get the message with "The range does not contain column headers" when I create a filter, and no column is found as header. Here the bug is reported as canceling an already filtered column. Data - More Filter - Reset AutoFilter is working well. Please be sure you use the correct icon. You can add all the icon neeeded in the toolbar from Tools - Customize.
