=========================================
I was working in Writer with a document with a full page background image originally created in MS Word, which did not seem to work properly:
- only one page text would be rendered at a time, so when viewing 2 pages at the page top/bottom I get one blank page and one page with text.
- I was unable to click on the text. No matter what I did I selected the image, even tough the text was rendered nicely in front of it. Strange because at some time I did select and edit the text. I'm unable to explain when it worked and when it didn't work.

When looking at the image properties, it was set to transparent and background

There was at least two background images, but there may have been more that I could not see.
