Reproduction instructions: 1. Create new presentation 2. On the main toolbar, press the Master Slide button 3. Move your mouse, observe Master Slide button state 4. Double-click the title, so that the text cursor shows 5. Observe Master Slide button state Expected results: At step (3.) and (5.), button is pressed Actual results: At step (3.) button is unpressed; at step (5.), button is pressed Similar behavior is observed when switching back out from Master Slide view, except that there's bug 101243, so we can't do that using the toolbar button. Just use the menu instead. This has had a couple of changes in the history. The initial state, seen already in oldest of linux-43all, was icon activation after a delay of 1-2 secs. Then, a change happened where the activation would not happen no matter what you did.
