Description: We work on projects that require us to organize dozens of tables within a single file. Navigating through these tables in the footer of the workspace becomes very confusing, and you have to constantly scroll back and forth. It would therefore be very helpful if you could group sections into folders. To do this, you could right-click a table tab and define it as a "folder," allowing you to sort tables into that folder. Actual Results: No results Expected Results: Tab-Folders Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: You an find a similar feature in Google Chrome Webbrowser
This request is similar to bug 91566 and bug 98410. I set it as duplicate to bug 98410. In addition, more remarks on the tab bar are in bug 156328. Some tips for current state of LibreOffice: If you have more tabs than can be shown in the tab bar in the footer, the navigation arrows in the footer are active. When you right-click such control, you see a list of all sheets. Instead of navigating to a specific sheet using the tabs in the footer, you can use the Navigator. It gives you a more compact access to a specific sheet. If you currently work on a specific set of sheets, you can temporarily hide the currently not used sheets, to get a shorter line of tabs. If you currently toggle between two sheets, you can show the document in a second window (menu Window) and so have a view on one sheet in the first window and on the other sheet in the second window.
