Opening docx file: text is white, invisible on white background. Text can be selected. Only solution to see the document content is to use "print to pdf" command from menu.

Some questions:

1) Can you please attach a (non-confidential) sample document for which this happens for you?

2) Does uninstalling and reinstalling the app help?

3) What device and Android version are you using?

4) How did you install the app (e.g. from Google Play or F-Droid)?

I am also affected by this bug. I use the version from Google Play. (Right now, that is 24.8.6.2.) I am sure this bug was already present on February 2, and I think that it wasn't yet present during December (because I don't remember experiencing this bug when I was reporting the unrelated bug 164082).

This bug affects both .odt and .docx files, and doesn't seem to be affected by changing fonts. Interestingly, it doesn't affect text in tables, except the rightmost column, though this needs to be verified.

I use Android 7.0.

Thanks for the additional information. Do you remember whether there was any Android/system update since then?

Can you please attach an affected sample document with both, normal paragraphs and a table, and a screenshot of what it looks like on your phone?

Cropped to show only the application.

I am sure there haven't been any system updates for my phone for the last few years, though Google Play Services may have been updated.

I had the same problem and found a workaround. Just zoom out the page as much as you can and the text will appear, then you can zoom in again and everything will be normal.

Thank you very much, this workaround also works for me.

Thank you very much, this is a very helpful information.

For some reason, this seems to only affect some users, but not others.
I haven't been able to reproduce the problem myself yet.

Could you please check and report back here whether this is still an issue with version 25.2.4 which was just released on Google Play and approved for F-Droid (but it will likely take a few days until it becomes available in the F-Droid store)?

As of the version 25.2.4.3 from Google Play, this bug doesn't seem to be present any more for me. Thank you.

Great, thanks for the feedback!

I'm closing this as WORKSFORME. If anybody still sees this with 25.2.4.3 or newer, please feel free to reopen and give more details.
