Description: Every time I open a LibreOffice file on my phone using LibreOffice Viewer, it will just appear as a blank page. Actual Results: My LibreOffice files just appear as blank pages when opened on LibreOffice Viewer. Expected Results: I should have been able to view the content of the LibreOffice files I was trying to open. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: N/A
Is this still a problem with version 25.2.4? If so, from where did you install the app (F-Droid, Google Play) and does the workaround mentioned in tdf#166097 (zooming out/in) help? This sounds like tdf#166097, for which affected users said it works fine for them with the latest version. PS: Please don't confirm your own bugs, but leave them in UNCONFIRMED status until somebody else can confirm/reproduce the problem.
Yes it is. I installed it from Google Play and zooming out and in does not work.
Some questions to narrow this down further: 1) Does uninstalling and reinstalling the app help? 2) Does this happen for all documents, i.e. text documents as well as spreadsheets and presentations, or only some? 3) Is it "only" text that is not displayed or nothing at all? E.g. if a document contains an image, is that one displayed? 4) Can you possibly provide a video/screencast of the issue? 5) Can you please provide more details on your device (model, Android version)?

Created attachment 201987 [details] This is what happens when I try to view a document using LibreOffice Viewer.

Created attachment 202029 [details] Simple calc document
(In reply to Michael Weghorn from comment #8) > Created attachment 202029 [details] > Simple calc document Still doesn't work
(In reply to joevan.antivirus262 from comment #5) > Created attachment 201987 [details] > This is what happens when I try to view a document using LibreOffice Viewer. Thanks. What's odd (besides no document content being shown) is that trying to open the spreadsheet results in an empty *text* document being displayed for you, i.e. it seems to be trying to use Writer instead of Calc to open that document. I cannot reproduce in a virtual Android device (Pixel 2) running Android 9 (i.e the same version you're using). Just to double-check: Does the same happen with the simple sample document attachment 202029 [details]? [UPDATE: You've already answered that in the meantime in comment 9] And is there any difference if you try to open a file from the file manager ("Files" app) instead of starting LibreOffice Viewer and selecting the file from there? I wonder whether the file manager (or the app providing the file selection widget when using the is "Select file to open" feature from within the LibreOffice app) may be playing a role, e.g. reporting the wrong MIME type. Do you have any custom (or vendor-specific) file manager installed? Or could you try whether it works when you try to open the file from another file manager, e.g. "Material Files"? (In reply to joevan.antivirus262 from comment #11) > Still blank. Thanks for checking. The only thing I can still think of at the moment is some device/hardware-specific rendering issue. Can you please give more details on what device you're using? Without being able to reproduce the problem myself, I'm currently running out of ideas of what else to suggest or do, though, to be honest.

I use a Vivo 1723.
To be sure: Does that happen when opening a local file (e.g. from the Downloads folder) or are you using any external device, cloud storage,... (The latter *should* generally work, too, if there's a proper document provider, but best to not have that aspect involved while testing now.)
