Description: I have just updated to: Version: 25.2.2.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 7370d4be9e3cf6031a51beef54ff3bda878e3fac CPU threads: 12; OS: Windows 11 X86_64 (10.0 build 26100); UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: en-GB (en_GB); UI: en-US Calc: threaded My system theme option is dark mode so LibreOffice matched that because Tools/Options/Appearance/Options/Appearance is set to System. The axes, title, legends, etc. were all set to Font Effects/Font color = Automatic _but_ they all remained black which doesn't work well on a dark background. I guess that this is a bug. I hope that this helps, Mike. As in release notes, at 25.2.2 apply one of the Appearance theme extensions linked from the Tools -> Options -> Appearance panel. The 'Light Application color' theme was designed to mimic the 24.8 and earlier UI. Once applied it will trash behavior of the os/DE 'Automatic' themes, so profile reset would be needed to fully revert to the default theme (system in a Light or a Dark color scheme) but even that has some issues as you will get a dark document background by default. But the scalc grid and text fg should behave. After a profile reset, if you want to work with the os/DE provided color scheme, leave the [ System | Light | Dark ] radio button set to the 'System' button. Or, if using an appearance theme, then the Radio button selection behave (but require a restart of LibreOffice with document save). Expect further patches of Appearance theme framework at 25.2, with some substantial refactoring already planned for 25.8 release. You can follow along working with the nightly builds of master as parallel installs. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 164392 ***
