Description Guido Iodice 2025-04-29 17:20:46 UTC
On KDE/Linux, Global menu disappers if VCLPLUGIN in QT/KDE when using a tool in the toolbar, or using the right-click menu.

Comparing with xprop before and after, the 2 following properties disappear

_KDE_NET_WM_APPMENU_OBJECT_PATH(STRING) e _KDE_NET_WM_APPMENU_SERVICE_NAME(STRING)

Doesn't help. Your description is very short. So I don't understand what you are doing and what happens.

Also: You are using a version of LO, which is packed by a Linux distribution. Switch to the original packages for LO and try again. You could install LO as user installation parallel to the version of your Linux distribution.

I tried the version distributed by Document Foundation and it does not have the problem.

So I will try to open the bug on the distribution. Thanks!
Comment 4 Guido Iodice 2025-06-03 15:57:14 UTC
I am reopening the bug because I realised that the version distributed by Document Foundation uses qt5/Kf5 and not qt6/Kf6

A gentle bump...

Set back to UNCONFIRMED, because it couldn't be confirmed by a version of libreoffice.org
