Description raal 2025-05-12 15:31:47 UTC
Description:
After switching JAWS screen reader to virtual cursor mode using JAWSKey + Y, it should be possible to navigate by headings, lists, tables etc. using single letter keys.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a document containing headings, lists and tables.
2. Turn on JAWS screen reader.
3. Press JAWSKey + Y to switch to virtual cursor mode.
4. Press a single letter key, e.g., H, L, T, etc., to navigate by headings, lists, tables, etc.

Actual Results:
No quick navigation happens when single letter keys, e.g., H, L, T, etc., are pressed.

Expected Results:
Single letter keys, e.g., H, L, T, etc. should work for navigation by headings, lists, tables, etc.

Reproducible: Always

From the LibreOffice side, I think this can be considered a duplicate of tdf#137955.
Additional work may be needed on JAWS side once the LibreOffice side is done however (just as is the case for NVDA, depending on how that virtual cursor mode is implemented in JAWS).
Please feel free to ping me again once tdf#137955 is done if this doesn't work in JAWS yet (or contact JAWS/Vispero support directly).
