No ALL currency code

When trying to set the format of a currency cell to the Albanian Lek, I can't find the "ALL" symbol in the list (or LEK). I've scrolled through the entire list as of v25.4.3.2.

Is this currency missing, or did I miss it?

This page for the Albania 2018 LibreCon, https://conference.libreoffice.org/2018/practical-info/miscellaneous/index.html, lists "L", but I couldn't find that either.
Comment 3 Takenori Yasuda 2025-06-17 15:28:05 UTC
I checked, but it's not on the list — the Albanian lek (ISO 4217 alphabetic code: ALL). Probably just forgot to add it to the list or LibreOffice Calc.

Comment 5 Dan Dascalescu 2025-06-18 07:20:28 UTC
@Julien: I don't care for Albanian locales (in fact, I think locales, and languages to begin with are counterprouctive - https://dandv.medium.com/why-we-should-stop-learning-languages-other-than-english-6d84f36dbb4).

I just wanted the currency code instead of having to define a custom number format.
Comment 6 Xisco Faulí 2025-06-18 15:04:42 UTC
https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/c/core/+/186666 adds the bare minimum to just have the Albanian Lek available. Later it should be extended to add the other details like the Calendar...
Comment 7 Eike Rathke 2025-06-19 09:52:37 UTC
While that interim change adds the currency, it also offers the Albanian locale for number formatting et al but with en-US formats and calendar day and month names, also the currency format is with en-US separators. I'd rather avoid that, which is why tdf#96151 is still pending and details have to be looked up in the Unicode CLDR.

Effectively this _is_ a duplicate of bug 96151.

You may not care for locales, we do.
