Description Mihai Vasiliu 2025-06-22 12:21:11 UTC
Description:
The color selected in the Customizations for Button text color does not apply to all buttons in the UI.
Note that this is also true for the color set in the theme.xcu even if the user does not customize it.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to Tools->Options->Appearance
2. Choose Button text color from the Dropdown under Customizations
3. Choose any color, let's say Red.
4. Apply and restart LO.
5. Go to the same Appearance page again anc notice the colors on the buttons: "Reset All" compared to the "Apply/OK/Cancel" group. The color does apply to some of the buttons but not to all.
For another example, go to the Security page, and see that none of the buttons have the text in Red.

Actual Results:
No buttons on the Settings page have the text Red. See attached screenshot.

Expected Results:
All buttons should have had the text drawn in Red color.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Same issue on styles panel

The same issue reflects in other UI elements and it impacts the usability of the application

Confirmed.

If I get back to Automatic and turn off the 'Enable Application theming' (reset/restart or clear profile), check 'Enable Application theming' enabled and then apply an Appearance theme, I can customize specific UI elements. But some continue to take their color from the os/DE provided color and follow that color sense (light or dark)--and the 'Button text color' are very often not being themed. But I think that is the specific controls, and color response depends on how the control is implemented?
