I beg to differ that anything has been resolved. The problem still exists across the entire platform. All backgrounds are now black. So, maybe provide a link to a thread on this instead of saying it's resolved because it's a duplicate bug??
For the 25.2 release builds, open the Tools -> Options -> Appearance panel and select the 'Add more themes' button to open the theme extensions dialog and install the 'Light Application Color' appearance theme. Then select that appearance theme, and OK out. Allow LibreOffice to restart. That will restore the LO UI theme to what folks were used to through 24.8 release. Described in the Release notes for 25.2. -- https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleaseNotes/25.2#Application_Theming Additional refactoring already in place for Appearance themes for the upcoming 25.8 release, with revised themes needed already being posted for the reworked format at 25.8--and additional adjustments coming at 26.2 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 166942 ***
