LibreOffice 24.8.7 works correkt. LibreOffice 25.2.5 works correkt. LibreOffice 25.8.1 not working if File format ius Excel (xlsx) ODT works correct!
Calc doesn't support dynamic arrays, see: tdff#127808
why does it works with ods Files but not with XLSX? TThis is not a dynamic Array. it a formula!
It's a formula that must change the result vector, according to the changes on the input range and the criteria. That's a dynamic array.
A BUG IS A BUG! LibreOffice 24.8.7 works correct with taht in XLSX! LibreOffice 25.8.1 doesn't!
Nobody can confirm by looking on a screenshot! Please attach a .ods file

Comment on attachment 203251 [details] Calc spreadsheet with SUBTOTAL example saved in xls format Similar affect SUBTOTAL function, in file saved as XLS Example file where formula in "J6" cell is changed, when file is saved as XLS ODS Original J6 "=SUBTOTAL(9;J7:J21)" XLS format saved J6 "=SUBTOTAL(9;J6:J7)" Effect are in other SUBTOTALS formulas, where cells being added are located below the formula cell. Formula in J50, where SUBTOTAL adds cells placed over formula cell works well. If the XLS file open in LO 25.2.5.2, SUBTOTAL works corectly, same if open in MS Excel 2021
Reproducible saving as XLS, but the issue seems to be at opening, because XLS saved with 25.8.2.1 open fine with other version as 25.8.3.0.0+ The issue is there even in Safe Mode.
