Description Coarse Rosinflower 2025-10-18 03:02:40 UTC
Description:
UI: When nothing is selected, the top bar isn't there. This seems fine at first, but when something then is selected and the top bar appears, the entire document moves down to fit the bar. Then, when that thing is unselected, the top bar disappears, moving the entire document back up.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a document.

Actual Results:
There should at least be an empty top bar or an empty space where a bar is going to be.

Expected Results:
There is no top bar.

Reproducible: Always

Known issue with context sensitive Toolbars. A dupe of bug 38850

Perhaps expose the Sidebar decks, they part of the UI. Via the <Show>/<Hide> thumbs at right edge of app frame. Or cycle with a <Ctrl>+<F5> sequence.

They'll respond as you navigate your presentation.

You can also add/expose specific toolbars from the "hamburger" button and -> Toolbars listbox if you have something specific to work on.

But context sensitive nature of the core toolbar framework make the MUFFIN NB assemblages a bit jarring as the context sensitive toolbars fire.
