Description Willy 2025-11-08 09:08:28 UTC
Description:
If you want to change or delete an array formula, you first have to select the whole range of the array formula.
Selecting the whole array formula with the shortcut ctrl + / works fine with the englisch keyboard, but not with the german keybord, where you would have to use ctrl + shift + 7. The "/" is above the "7" key and requires a "Shift + 7" to get it.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open attached file calc_issue.ods
2. Go to sheet unique
3. Select cell B2
4. Press shortcut "ctrl + shift + 7" on German keyboard. "Shift +7" gives "/".
   Nothing happens
5. Change keyboard to English (United States), US keyboard
6. Press shortcut "ctrl + /".
All current cells of the array formula (B2:B6) get selected.

Actual Results:
Shortcut "ctrl + shift + 7" on german keyboard don't select the whole array formula.

Expected Results:
Shortcut "ctrl + shift + 7" on german keyboard should select the whole array formula like the shortcut "ctrl + /" on the US keyboard.

Reproducible: Always

It happens with any keyboard where the symbol to use is a shift key.
I guess you are on a laptop without numeric keys.
I have the same issue with Spanish keyboard.
For me, easy was to assign a symbol/letter without shift, in Menu>Tools>Customize.

Take a look at tdf#126888
