Description:
Well, this is most likely a layout question:
Where should footnote added in a multi-column section be?
My expectation was that they would appear starting at the end of the column of the section where they are defined.
However they appear at the end of the page outside of the section where they are defined.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add a two-column section
2. Add text to the section to fill more than the first column
3. Add a footnote in the second column

Actual Results:
Footnote appears at the top of the page (not section) at the left

Expected Results:
Footnote appears at the bottom of column 2


Reproducible: Always


User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
There is a setting (mis-translated in German as "Am Textende sammeln") saying to collect footnotes at end of text(!), but when activating that, the footnotes are actually collected at the end of the section.

That's not the same case as this, but kind of the other way around. Compare:
