removing all external screens brouhgt back the dialog. Seems LO did not check is dialog position in visible area
Can not confirm on 4K single monitor. The launch position of the 'Use text import dialog' opens in front of the active LO app frame at full screen, or as previously positioned when app frame is not a full screen. Since issue reported comment 0 affects only external/secondary display, could be a focus issue of WDM in bringing the LO dialog to front, when dialog receives position (as some default) over on the alternate screen. Does issue with multihead system occur if you first locate the dialog on the secondary display and drag it "just once" over to the primary display, then <esc> out of attempt, and repeat the text import attempt? Where does the import dialog open? On the display holding the LO calc app frame and in front? Also, please copy and post the Help -> About details for your install, and describe the display and GPU of your multihead system. =-testing-= Version: 25.8.3.2 (X86_64) Build ID: 8ca8d55c161d602844f5428fa4b58097424e324e CPU threads: 28; OS: Windows 11 X86_64 (build 26200); UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: en-US (en_US); UI: en-US Calc: CL threaded single 32" 4K display with nVidia GTX 4060Ti
