Make chart using dates for first column or row, to be used in chart axes. Then with Format-Cells change format, for example from DD/MM/YY to DD MMM YY Chart legend is not updated. Legend is updated on manual edit of cell content.
Works for me Version: 26.2.0.0.alpha1+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 620(Build:0) CPU threads: 16; OS: Windows 11 X86_64 (build 26200); UI render: Skia/Vulkan; VCL: win Locale: es-ES (es_ES); UI: en-US Calc: threaded
Timur: which platform are you testing on? Can you attach an example file? Also, the summary has "Chart legend with does not update" - something seems to be missing after "with".
Created attachment 204517 [details] Screenshot This was side issue to testing bug 169899 with attachment 204504 [details]. Confusing is that I can reproduce from scratch, as in screenhsot.
Timur, this is duplicate with bug 169899 right ? I get your point, when you change the format of the dates in the data set, the chart is not update automatically ; you have to triger the change manually ; select the chart -> right mouse click (contextual menu) -> Edit (last item) -> Data Ranges (last item) -> click on 'Select Data Ranges' (Data Range tab, Data Range field) and select the data range with your mouse and the update is done. Another way to workaround quickly is just to save & close & reopen your document and that does the update. the question is : is it a bug or an enhancement ? Steve btw, tests done in both these 2 version, the result is the same : Version: 25.8.3.2 (X86_64) Build ID: 8ca8d55c161d602844f5428fa4b58097424e324e CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10 X86_64 (build 19045); UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: fr-CH (en_CH); UI: en-US Calc: CL threaded Version: 26.2.0.0.alpha1 (X86_64) Build ID: 620(Build:0) CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10 X86_64 (build 19045); UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: en-US (en_CH); UI: en-US Calc: CL threaded

I do not see why it would be a duplicate.
