Make chart using dates for first row, as in the attached file/
The index names are incorrectly copied from the table in the chart, so dates look changed.

It seems that issue happens in all LO versions, with this combination that date is in 1st row and data series in rows. Not when data series is in columns.
I could not find the existing reported tickte in TDF.
This looks like a bug, unless someone has a better explanation.

look at the input line when you select a cell with a date
04.12.0025
should be 04.12.2025 
and if you correct all the dates, the chart is ok

Thanks steve. I noticed the wrong dates, but was distracted by series in column chart which looked good, so I did not try to correct all of them.
not sure still if this is a bug, but seems not worth keeping open.

There is another unexpected issue here. Instead of fixing all dates ,I deleted some columns to end up with 4 data columns (so it was 04,05,08,09), but chart showed 6 dates on X chart. 
It interpolated missing months 06,07 inside. Interesting.
