Description kuhnemd 2025-12-27 16:01:38 UTC
Description:
Hitting "enter" key on a sentence with tabs or indents moves all the text to the left margin. I have to go back to the start of the line to reenter the tabs. This only started happening with the latest update 25.8.4.2

Steps to Reproduce:
1.enter one or more tabs
2.type in text
3.hit enter

Actual Results:
tabs removed and goes to left margin

Expected Results:
Should just go to a new line without changing the current line

Reproducible: Always

It is an Autocorrect option.
Menu>Tools>Autocorrect>Options
there are to options about Delete spaces and tabs.

Isn't this a duplicate of Bug 170138 (Bug 170059, Bug 169751) rather than NOTABUG? The report content is similar.
