[This is an automated message.]
This bug was filed before the changes to Bugzilla on 2011-10-16. Thus it
started right out as NEW without ever being explicitly confirmed. The bug is
changed to state NEEDINFO for this reason. To move this bug from NEEDINFO back
to NEW please check if the bug still persists with the 3.5.0 beta1 or beta2 prereleases.
Details on how to test the 3.5.0 beta1 can be found at:

Thanks for bugreport
Meanwhile use this as workaroud: paste to Impress using Ctrl-Shift-V, select "Calc 8" there.

reproduced in 3.6.0 rc on Fedora 64 bit
Font color, background color, cell borders and may be something other are lost during copy-pasting from Calc to Impress
Comment 8 ign_christian 2013-06-13 12:43:41 UTC
I think it's not a bug. We can do it with Paste Special > calc8, then we can edit within Impress with double-click. (I'm using LO 4.0.4.1 - Win7 32bit)

Please feel free to REOPENED if you don't agree
Comment 9 sasha.libreoffice 2013-06-14 08:19:38 UTC
Reopening. Reasons:
1. Copy-pasting something of one module of LO to another is very often used functionality. Should work correctly. For example tables from Calc to Impress.
2. Creating OLE objects as described in workaround results in many other bugs. It is just fast. But not wise. More proper way is creating screenshot and paste it.
Comment 10 Rob Snelders 2013-10-05 11:15:19 UTC
Is the same problem as 47514, because the problem is that impress/draw will throw away any formatting for tables.
