odt file demonstrating the problem

Attached is a file that was imported from Microsoft. The figure won't print.
I get blank space on the Print Preview and on the printed page, which is, of course, sub-optimal. The picture is visible in LibreOffice3.4

If I double-click on the picture, I get the message:
Failed to execute default File Manager.
Input/output error.

NOT reproducible with "LibreOffice 3.4.3 RC2 - WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) German UI [OOO340m1 (Build:302)]" I can export to PDF and Print without problem, the object (WMF EMF or similar) looks fine.

I also get a "General Error" when I double click the object in the document. But Server installation of Master "LibO-dev 3.5.0 – WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) English UI [(Build ID: d3d1481-3f8994a-2ba0a9f)]" will open the object.

Additional info:
DRAW of both versions open the object from the unzipped document (and after rename "Object 4" to "Object 4.wmf" without problems.
OOo 3.1.1 also shows the "General Error"

@Steve Kelem
Is the original MS document available?
Any Idea how the Object in the document has been created?
Do you also see the problem with PDF export?

Here's a .doc file that has a picture that won't print. I think the picture was created in Visio.
Comment 4 Rainer Bielefeld Retired 2011-11-11 04:33:43 UTC
The fact that it seems to be LINUX only seems to show that this one might be a DUP of "Bug 36397 - PRINTING FILESAVE Impress removes two images exporting to PDF or printing".

@Steve Kelem:
Can you compare results and leave a comment in "Bug 36397"?

[This is an automated message.]
This bug was filed before the changes to Bugzilla on 2011-10-16. Thus it
started right out as NEW without ever being explicitly confirmed. The bug is
changed to state NEEDINFO for this reason. To move this bug from NEEDINFO back
to NEW please check if the bug still persists with the 3.5.0 beta1 or beta2 prereleases.
Details on how to test the 3.5.0 beta1 can be found at:
http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugHunting_Session_3.5.0.-1

needinfo keyword redundant by needinfo status.

I'm not sure what you're asking me to compare.
Comment 8 sasha.libreoffice 2012-03-02 01:48:42 UTC
reproduced with first attachment in 3.3.4 and 3.5.0 on Fedora 64 bit
changing version to 3.3.4 as most early reproducible
Comment 9 ign_christian 2013-06-18 09:59:57 UTC
I can confirm reproducible with PDF export on both files (blank figure).
But printing was ok.
