Tools > Options > Calc > Formulae ... initially the controls do not show the values... passing them with the Tab key cures the prob

Build ID: 4456143-f6a1fc5-e1a2fb3

[Reproducible] with parallel installation of MinGW Master "LibO-dev 3.5.0 – WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) English UI [(Build ID: 2ba5d12-e8c71c5-41e7bcd-4b83b90)] (daily/MinGW_cross-compilation2011-10-25_00.12.09)" and others.I thought that I had already reported this problem, but it seems I forgot it.

I am pretty sure that I also saw those ugly grey rectangles covering the values in other dialogs, but currently I only can confirm reporter's problem.

@Cor:
Your OS is?

Only for the sake of completeness, I also see the grey shadow fragment in Mail Merge Wizard dialog 'Personalize the mail merge document' in search criteria input pane.

Linux.
Forgot to change that initially. But since you confirmed WIndows, I'll leave it as is now.

This bug had fixed by 2011-11-16 with
http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=77fe96d43477ddc5a4a24900c9e767dd93ec0e54
But what is happened? Why it is still alive? What voodoo is protecting it from the eradication? I do not understand at all...
Comment 8 Ivan Timofeev (retired) 2011-12-18 21:33:11 UTC

... also is affected in  Parallel Dev-Installation of  "LibreOffice 3.5.0 Beta2- WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) German UI [Build-ID : 8589e48-760cc4d-f39cf3d-1b2857e-60db978]

@Ivan:
Is there a root for all those effects (so that I should wait with new details until next build after your fixes) or has every fragment to be fixed with a separate patch?

Unfortunately such problems will occur again and again (and again!), until we use manual positioning of the UI elements. But I /think/ that the search for these defects can be performed automatically, but there will be a lot of the false positives during the automated analysis.
