Problem description: Any frames created with LibreOffice writer in existing or new docx files are lost and some content created in the frames is removed or not viewable after re-opening the file after saving and closing. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open existing or create new docx file with L.O. writer. 2. Insert frames with any content such as text or images. 3. Save the document as docx and close the document. 4. Reopen the saved docx file. 5. Note the missing frames and perhaps missing content. Current behavior: Missing frames created in docx. This doesn't occur when saving as odt format. Expected behavior: The same content saved in odt format should be saved and viewable as a docx file. Platform (if different from the browser): Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; WOW64; rv:8.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/8.0
I attached a file during submission of this bug. I don't see it or the notes I posted about it provided.
Created attachment 54124 [details] File exhibits similar behavior reported in bug as well as additional strange behavior. The file was from my wife who originally reported having trouble saving frames in LibreOffice. After failing to save frames in LibreOffice I had her work with Microsoft Office 2007 to create the frames and save. She was curious and opened the file afterwards with LibreOffice and once again the frames she created with MS Office were missing. However, when opening the file with MS Office or Word viewer the frames and content are all present.
A FILEOPEN problem is [Reproducible] with "LibreOffice 3.4.4 - WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) German UI [Build ID: OOO340m1 (Build:402)]", frames below "Match the scenario to the domain it would go under" are missing in LibO, but shown with MS WORD Viewer. After having saved "Chapter15Worksheet.docx" as "Chapter15Worksheet2.docx" with LibO the frames missing in view with LibO also will miss viewing "Chapter15Worksheet2.docx" with MS WORD Viewer, but I doubt that that's an independent problem. Still a problem with Server installation of MSVC Master "LibO-dev 3.5.0 – WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) ENGLISH UI [Build ID: a286353-090bcba-3bf3b94]" Win-x86@6 – 2011-12-02_22:36:35) @Sn3akyP3t3 Please check Save-Reopen problem after the root FILEOPEN problem will have been fixed. @Cédric: Please feel free to reassign (or reset Assignee to default) if it’s not your area or if provided information is not sufficient.
