Description matickumer 2011-12-30 07:06:12 UTC
Problem description:

If you number paragraphs in Ms Office with the code field of {LISTNUM LegalDefault}, the numbers are not visible in Libreoffice.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create code field in Ms Office with the following content: {LISTNUM LegalDefault}
2. Save the document in word 2003 format (doc).
3. Open the same document in Libreoffice.

Current behaviour:

If you watch the document in Ms Office the number of paragraf is shown but in Libreoffice isn't shown.

Expected behaviour:

The number of paragraph should be shown in Libreoffice.

I use Openoffice 3.2.1 (build 9502) on my one of my computers and the bug is also present - if this information is of any help to you.

The bug is still present in the latest version:

Version: 7.6.0.3 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 69edd8b8ebc41d00b4de3915dc82f8f0fc3b6265
CPU threads: 16; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 22621; UI render: Skia/Vulkan; VCL: win
Locale: ru-RU (ru_RU); UI: en-US
Calc: CL threaded

{ LISTNUM LegalDefault } fields are not displayed at all.

This bug together with #61619 (non-working AUTONUMLGL fields) is absolutely critical for dealing with highly structured documents having multi-level numbering. As automatic multi-level list numbering and multi-level list styles are not very predictable in MS Word, these 2 fields are extensively used by professionals in legal documents, technical writing etc.
