Hello. > > People who used MS Office before have a complaint about LibreOffice: > ---> Printing only even pages or odd pages is a pain in LibreOffice. > Lots of people doesn't know that left pages means "even" and right pages means "odd" > > SOLUTION > --> Why don't you include the terms "odd" and "even" beside the "right" and "left" terms? The options might look like this (at File/Print/Page Layout/Page Sides/Include) : > + "All pages" + "Back sides / Left pages (even numbers)" + "Front sides / Right pages (odd numbers)" Page numbering is the primal factor for identifying pages. The terms that are actually used in LibreOffice are only better reminded when pages are destined for book confeccioning; however, before getting the pages together, they might be organizated first :-) Lots of users will thank you for making their life easier. Thanks
Thanks for bugreport with new idea. reproduced in 3.5.3. Used this place: File->Printer settings->Options changing status to New
Have print odd and even pages is very important for print on both sides in printers without duplex unit: print the even pages, recharge in the printer tray the same pages and print the odd pages.
Usually I keep some book near printer to translate left/right to even/odd
Since I started using OpenOffice/LibreOffice I miss this option. Reading this I found out it's possible to print only even/odd pages, but it sould be more easier to identify this functionality. I think it sould be an option in the main tab of the printing window to can select printing only even/odd pages. Like in Okular or MS Office, for example. I'd really appreciate it.
4.0.3.3 LibreOffice This feature doesn't apeared and still required! If you want to print 100-page document on both sides of the paper you need to do the followong. 1. At first you print 1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15,...,99 pages 2. then you rotate all printed papers and put them again to printer 3. print on the backside pages 2,4,6,8,10,12,14,...,100 and check [*] backorder The "odd" and "even" checkbox will make life easier.
This was done from 6.3 with new print dialog, so could be marked Fixed. But let me mark duplicate for the ongoing bug. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 127680 ***
