Created attachment 58438 [details] Screenshot Problem description: See the screenshot. I've moved the scrollbars to their terminal positions, and instead of just getting to the corresponding end of slide, I have the slide almost go away from the viewport. Steps to reproduce: 1. Create an empty presentation 2. Move vertical and horizontal scrollbars to terminal positions 3. See slide almost go away from viewport Expected behavior: Scrollbars shouldn't appear when the slide is fully visible in the corresponding direction, and scrolling shouldn't be possible in this case (the slide should be centered in the viewport in this direction). Also, it'd be really useful if when the slide is fully visible, mouse scrolling switched one slide up/down, like it used to be in MS PowerPoint. Erm... the screenshot file seems to have been cropped on uploading... Here it's in full size: http://simplest-image-hosting.net/png-0-libreoffice-impress
Thanks for bugreport Please, attach odp file that demonstrates this problem (after we save to pptx)
(In reply to comment #2) > Thanks for bugreport > Please, attach odp file that demonstrates this problem (after we save to pptx Hmm, it seems you misunderstand the bug. It reproduces even when you just create a new empty presentation. You don't need any special odp file to reproduce it.
Sorry, I typed this in wrong window. What about moving outside of slides: it gives advantage in editing. When we have much room, then editing of slide is more handy. Currently we have ability to shit all content of slide so it becomes completely unseen in slideshow mode. It is very useful when rearranging content of slide, changing size of slide, resizing or cropping content. So, it is not a bug. But we can ask developers to add option "msPower Point behaviour". When it enabled, Impress will behave exactly as Power Point, all advantages of Impress will be unavailable. For this we should transform this bug to Functionality Request bugreport or create another.

Confirmed with: LO 3.5.5.3 Build ID: own W7 debug build Windows 7 Professional SP1 64 bit As per comment 4 - sometimes it is very useful, so IMHO more a feature than a bug...

In PowerPoint you can also move things outside of the slide. If you do that, the viewport is enlarged, and you can scroll to the new place; but, if you don't, they don't disturb you. I don't think the Impress behaviour is really so useful. (In reply to comment #4) > But we can ask developers to add option "msPower Point behaviour". I would be ok with this, although I don't think that Impress letting you scroll out to void is really an advantage.
