This was reported in the Debian bug tracking system. I could reproduce it with 3.5.2:

I reproduced this behaviour with pc Debian x86-64 on master repo updated today).
I attached 2 bts without and with sync

I get this defect all the time. I can include the file that causes the crash; however, the file is 3.5M (you have a limit of 3M). Removing any image fails to cause bug.

On pc Debian x86-64 with 3.6 sources updated yesterday, I don't reproduce the crash.
I just have a warning window indicating transparency can't be managed.

Moritz: could you give a try to a new LO version (eg: 3.6.3)?
