Chart displays very incorrectly in 3.5.2, fine in 3.4.4

I've attached a file that displays a chart fine in 3.4.4 but goes haywire in 3.5.2. The file labeled OK was created in 3.4.4. If you opne the OK file in 3.5.2 and right click the chart and click edit, the chart will automatically go wrong. The wrong chart was saved as the ERROR file in case you need to see it directly.
Also, if you open the ERROR file in 3.5.2 and edit the data range to be $Sheet1.$A$2:$B$318 the chart is fixed so it only fails when the data range is $Sheet1.$A$2:$B$319 or more.

entire chart

Attaching screenshots, one of entire chart when messed up, and one zoomed in to first section showing that the line chart goes "backwards".

I can confirm the bug with LO 3.6.2.1 and OpenSUSE 12.1 64 bit rpm.

If you would sort the values and change the Data Range the chart will be displayed correctly. There are some lines without values in the Data Range. This seems to be a problem for newer versions of LO.
