Writer let the user change the page number when inserting a manual page break. It would be helpful to also be able to change the page count on manual page break. See details on: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/msg20253.html Quoting the above message: > Using writer, I merged two documents into a single one in order to get > the cross-references working between the two. Thanks for reporting! I mark this enhancement of course as 'valid'. Can't find any duplicates so far. Kind regards, Joren
This is a really important enhancement request. In other bug this was also requested, e.g. in bug 108786 comment 2. Also many help pages explain in a complicated (but necessary) way to 'correct' the page count to exclude title and index pages at the beginning of a document. German example: http://www.ooowiki.de/SeitenNummerierung.html#Anzahl_Seiten_f.2BAPw-r_einen_Dokumentbereich
For me it looks like a duplicate of bug 71583 (although bug 71583 might have a broader scope). Feel free correct it with a short reasoning, if you disagree. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 71583 ***
