Problem description: Steps to reproduce: click Help the entry is send feedback Expected behavior: The entry should really be Report a bug, or Report a problem, as in other apps (especially Gnome based) - feedback could also suggest positive feedback. Platform: (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:12.0)
Right... but I thought it was planned to implement gathering a positive feedback too: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=53124 Rainer, are you aware of the status of that feedback webpage?
Thx for reminder, I will ask Web team next days.
Today I sent a request concerning a feedback page to Web Team
This feature is somehow fixed. When clicking on the "send feedback" menu entry you'll be redirected to https://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/bug/ . Thanks Rainer for your work regarding this bug report! Kind regards, Joren
@Jorendc: There seems to be a misunderstanding, the problem is not that the link leads to a wrong Web page, but that the Wording of the Help menu item might cause misunderstanding. Some who wants to report a bug will not expect such a function behind a "Feedback" link, and someone who wants to give some positive feedback "great software" will be astonished to be lead to a bug report page. So I reopen this one for now. To avoid such misunderstanding the German menu entry is "Fehler melden (English)" = "Report a bug"). This one would become obsolete with a fix for "Bug 44795 - TDF Site: Feedback page required "
Feedback page now implemented. Resolving as Fixed.
