Andrey, please attach a test file.

Is this bug still valid / reproducible with the latest LO release? Currently 4.2.0.4: http://www.libreoffice.org/download/

Please also try resetting your user profile and let us know if that helps: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile

Should this be still reproducible for you with the latest LO release please set this bug back to UNCONFIRMED. Should this issue be solved set it to WORKSFORME.

Setting to NEEDINFO until more detail is provided.

Test File for check this bug

Bug is confirmed on LO 4.1.4.2
On version LO 4.2.0.4 I have not seen the dialog box for selecting of "Standard filter" to choose the value ">" 0(zero) in the field "balances"
But I waited 40 minutes!!!
And then i killed the process manually in task manager.
Resetting the profile did not help.

Version is oldest version not newest. Is this still an issue?

If so - andrey, any thoughts?
Comment 6 andrey 2014-11-13 13:16:26 UTC
Version 4.3.3.2
Things got even worse.
Now the application is not closed.

as of today with below ver. i'd say WFM,

copying the cells threw the cpu-load to ~17% for some minutes ~3, (equaling ~100 on a 1 core system) after some time it reduced to 7%, and fell back to 2% - idle - on closing just that window, other calc instances still open ...

if you consider significand load for some time ok, then ok, if you say it's a mem to mem copy and shouldn't last more than a second ... still bug,

Version: 7.2.0.0.alpha0+ (x64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 6e6e531b564cdc9d5b25287c215cdc5a1fcbb346
CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 6.1 Service Pack 1 Build 7601; UI render: default; VCL: win
Locale: de-DE (de_DE); UI: en-US
Calc: CL

Dear andrey,

To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year.

There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present.

If you have time, please do the following:

Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/

If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice.

If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice.

Please DO NOT

Update the version field
Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker)
Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not
appropriate in this case)

If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so:
1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

2. Test your bug
3. Leave a comment with your results.
4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';
4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword

Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat: https://web.libera.chat/?settings=#libreoffice-qa
