Problem description: 

Steps to reproduce:
1. Install LO 3.5.3
1. Download and install LO 3.5.4
2. Open Writer
3. Use menu Format|Character ...
4. Verify in Language that only French languages have the checkmark

Previously, all languages were available.
              
Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:12.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/12.0

That's probably a duplicate of 'Bug 50552 - SPELL check does not mark wrong text and capitalization rules'.

Please have a look at the above-mentioned bug and try the described workaround.
Does it solve the problem?

I tried the workaround explained in Bug 50552. This solves my problem.
So I can conclude that this bug is a duplicate of  Bug 50552, although it
is stated quite differently.
