Problem description: 

Steps to reproduce:
1. .... I have had problems opening Base on both my Windows 7 and Vista computers.  
2. .... Base gives me a JRE
3. .... I had just updated to Java 1.7.  Once I deleted that and went back to a Java 1.6 version Base worked fine.  Is there a problem with the latest version of Java?
