Description Andras Timar 2012-06-28 10:21:13 UTC
Quickstarter is shut down during uninstall without UI, e.g. from Control Panel, Uninstall, or right click on MSI, Uninstall.

Quickstarter is not shut down from Installer Wizard. E.g. from Control Panel, Change, Remove or start the MSI and then choose Remove.

In the second case, INSTALLLOCATION property exists but it is empty, when it is read by GetOfficeInstallationPath() in ShutDownQuickstarter custom action. The log shows the real value of INSTALLLOCATION (not empty).

Setting to NEEDINFO until more detail is provided.

After providing the requested info, please reset this bug to UNCONFIRMED. Thanks :)
