Created attachment 64763 [details] Scroll in this document for making libreoffice freeze In the attachment, try to go to the last page or previous one : it is impossible, it freezes. If you press F5, you see the "navigator" (navigateur in french), the "image13" has an url starting by "data:image/jpeg;base64". I think this kind of image is not handled correctly by libreoffice.
(In reply to comment #0) Confirmed the freeze here: Version 3.6.1.2 (Build ID: e29a214) Slackware Linux 13.37

From duplicate bug 59837: Interestingly, the flat ODF file with the image in question is opened fine.
Created attachment 79281 [details] test case webpage with base64-encoded image to copy I can reproduce this bug on Version 4.0.2.2 (Build ID: 400m0(Build:2)) using Ubuntu 13.04. Libreoffice also freezes if HTML clipboard data containing base64 encoded images is pasted into a document. I've attached an html page with a small base64 encoded image to test this behavior.
