Description Rainer Bielefeld Retired 2012-08-13 16:22:07 UTC
Steps how to reproduce [Reproducible] with parallel installation of Master "LOdev - WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) ENGLISH UI [Build ID: 7d8cd0a]" (tinderbox: 2008R2@20, pull time 2012-08-10 23:27:17):

Use Menu 'File -> Open' form LibO Start Center to open a Document. I have no JRE selected because that Version does not find any, but I do not believe that JRE really is required.

Problem is difficult to reproduce, only 5% or so. As far as I remember I only saw that when I opened the first document after I had started LibO, not during later file operations.

seems odd to me that we would start JVM on File->Open...
... doesn't happen here on current master on Linux when
disabling Java in Options.

can you still reproduce this?

Yes, this bug difficult to reproduce might have been the antecedent of "Bug 58501 - First action in LibO Start Center after launch: message "JRE required" if no JRE selected"?
