I have no JRE selected because that Version does not find any, but I do not believe that JRE really is required. Problem is difficult to reproduce, only 5% or so. As far as I remember I only saw that when I opened the first document after I had started LibO, not during later file operations.
seems odd to me that we would start JVM on File->Open... ... doesn't happen here on current master on Linux when disabling Java in Options. can you still reproduce this?
