Description Rainer Bielefeld Retired 2012-08-13 16:22:07 UTC
Steps how to reproduce [Reproducible] with parallel installation of Master "LOdev 3.7.0.0.alpha0+ - WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) ENGLISH UI [Build ID: 7d8cd0a]" (tinderbox: 2008R2@20, pull time 2012-08-10 23:27:17):

Use Menu 'File -> Open' form LibO Start Center to open a Document. I have no JRE selected because that Version does not find any, but I do not believe that JRE really is required.

Problem is difficult to reproduce, only 5% or so. As far as I remember I only saw that when I opened the first document after I had started LibO, not during later file operations.

seems odd to me that we would start JVM on File->Open...
... doesn't happen here on current master on Linux when
disabling Java in Options.

can you still reproduce this?
Comment 2 Rainer Bielefeld Retired 2012-12-22 10:02:12 UTC
Yes, this bug difficult to reproduce might have been the antecedent of "Bug 58501 - First action in LibO Start Center after launch: message "JRE required" if no JRE selected"?
