Both an image that I inserted into the Header, and then later a drawing object got sucked into the header when I was adjusting the pagination. Once those items were inside the header they could not be selected, or removed, or re-sized. I had to format/page to remove the header, then re-create the Header from scratch. I'd like to be able to have a .jpg of my logo in the header, so that it appears on every page. Thanks! Juliasew p.s. Next time I will save a copy of the offending file.
In the meantime, please could you provide step by step instructions which would allow the problem to be reproduced. Thanks
I created this by creating the header. Then I put some text into the header. Finally I used insert/picture to add a graphic, inserting a .jpg file. I re-sized it to make it small enough to fit into the header space. Then when I wanted to make further adjustments, it could not even be selected. I had to re-create the whole 8 page document by cutting & pasting the rest of the material to the new file.
Created attachment 68304 [details] Example file with graphic STUCK in Header I removed most of the content (8 pages), but it still has the STUCK graphic in header.
This is not a valid Bug report. May be reporter only does not know that he has to go into header before he can select an object or a picture in it? Click into heading text "3D Flying Geese " 3. Click on picture in the left of the heading "SEW Artixtic" can be selected without problems Same result with 3.6.2 @Juliasew: Please feel free to reopen this bug if you find out that the problem still exists with the current stable LibreOffice version and if you can contribute requested precise additional information due to <http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport> (especially BugReport Details)!
