Steps how to with "LibreOffice 3.6.3.2” German UI/ German Locale [Build-ID: 58f22d5] on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit): Start LibO From WIN Programs Start Center: > LibO start Center Appears Bug: Menus 'File -> Open', 'Tools - Customize', 'Tools - Options' And 'Help / all except "Check for Updates"' are greyed out and not active The problem is related to my profile I have been using the last few weeks and also for 3.6.3.1, I cna't remember with what the problem appeared, may be before 3.6.3.1. The problem disappears when I rename my user profile before I launch LibO 3.6.3.2 So I think this one is related to "Bug 43489 - [Task] Incorrect behavior using existing User Profile for upgrade"
I found out that that the problem is caused by the "Frankierung" Extension of Deutsche Post.
AOOo 3.4.0 suffers from the same problem Major due to Marketing issues
Also reproducible on Linux. See <http://www.deutschepost.de/dpag?tab=1&skin=hi&check=yes&lang=de_DE&xmlFile=link1022370_1022369> "Download E-Porto Add-In für Microsoft Word und E-Porto Add-In für OpenOfficeTM Writer" for a link to the extension.
This is due to ep_oo_writer_addin_v_1_0.oxt (see comment 3 for download link) containing a registry/data/org/openoffice/Office/ProtocolHandler.xcu that contains <node oor:name="de.deutschepost.ooeporto.testing.InterceptorJob" oor:op="replace"> <prop oor:name="Protocols" oor:type="oor:string-list"> <value>.uno:*</value> </prop> </node> conflicting with the original com.sun.star.comp.sfx2.AppDispachProvider handler for .uno* and slot:* in officecfg/registry/data/org/openoffice/Office/ProtocolHandler.xcu. If you remove the above block from the .oxt, the various menu entries work again. (There is no easy safeguard against broken extensions here; adding oor:finalize="true" to the original handler does not help, as the conflicting handlers are set nodes with different names.)
@Stephan: Thank you for debugging! Please leave these "E-Porto" Bugs open, they will be communication platform to discuss Bugfixing with Deutsche Post developers.
Still the Same with Extension Version 1.0.2 in LibO and AOOo
NOTOURBUG Deutsche Post states this is compatible with OpenOfficeTM 3.3.0 und 3.4.0. Nothing we can do about this.
