Description a2219970 2012-12-12 08:35:53 UTC
Most typographers follow the rule that the last word of a paragraph should not
be hyphenated. Like this:

Most typographers believe the last word of a paragraph should not be hyphe-
  nated. [WRONG]

Most typographers believe the last word of a paragraph should not be
  hyphenated. [RIGHT]

In my opinion, automatic hyphenation should follow this rule, or at least give
the option of not hyphenating the last word of a paragraph.

I guess it is not so difficult to fix (could anyone tell?), but it would nevertheless be a major improvement, indeed. It is time to give attention to typographic quality to make our soft stand out…

Note: it was fixed in Bug 149258, but as an extension to OpenDocument instead of using the existing feature of the standard.

Added to the sidebar, too, see Bug 162491.

@a2219970@rmqkr.net and all: thanks for the bug report and feedback!
