The uninstall progress indicator has the labels unreadable because there are empty squares instead of the characters. Only numbers (i.e. 32%) are ok. I've used an Italian XP-32 OS. Installation progress dialog is ok instead (in english).
Confirmed with Windows XP. Vista 64: font size very small, only numbers have correct font size (but unusual font)

Created attachment 72910 [details] dialog box during uninstall I don't think is a duplicate, since bug #58144 seems almost solved, while this one seems totally untouched by RC1
The uninstaller dialog is unreadable in 4.0.0 RC1 (under Windows XP SP3). Only squares show up. This is a regression from all previous releases.
Can't reproduce on Windows 7 with daily from today

In the MSI logfile it can be seen it uses Tahoma 8, which is installed and works normally.
From what I can see this was never confirmed by QA team - moving to UNCONFIRMED to get their confirmation.
Cosmetic bug in an unsupported OS will never be dealt with realistically.
