Test file

See the test file. The shadows from arrows, boxes etc. are too far from the shapes themselves.

I can confirm this at least all the way back to 3.6.3.2, updating version to reflect this.

@reporter - version is for the oldest version you can confirm a bug existed, we leave comments to update the latest tested on version :)

Also verified on 4.1 master branch pulled last week
Version 4.1.0.0.alpha0+ (Build ID: a0d2c3c59fbe9324395152e544890fe298b6043)

Marking as:
New (Confirmed)
Normal (regular bug)
Low (Medium is default for normal, I see no reason to change this)

Thanks for reporting!

I reproduce the bug with LibreOffice 3.5.2, but it is not reproducible with LibreOffice 4.2.5 and 4.3.1.1 on Debian. I do not know which patch solved the issue, that's why I set status to worksforme. Please, set it to unconfirmed if you can reproduce the problem in LibreOffice 4.3.1 or later.

Screenshot as of 4.3.0.4

I still can reproduce this in 4.3.0.4 Windows build (run in Wine) and the same native Linux version run in Ubuntu.
There are some improvements, namely the shadows aren't so far from the arrows, but the arrows still point in the wrong spots.
Comment 6 Ruslan Kabatsayev 2014-08-17 09:53:24 UTC
If we fix the page position and compare with MSWord rendering, then the boxes are positioned almost correctly, and the arrows currently are shifted towards page top.
Comment 7 Alexandr 2014-08-18 09:26:47 UTC
Hello.
In the bug title and the description only issue with shadows is mentioned. It is not good practice to have multiple issues in one bugreport. I think it is better to mark this one as resolved worksforme and open another report.
The problem with arrows positions seems to be similar to bug 52436. Is it the same?
Comment 8 Ruslan Kabatsayev 2014-08-18 09:44:39 UTC
Indeed you're right. I forgot that the bug was only about the shadows.

As for bug 52436, yes, it seems to address the remaining problems with placement.
