This is the result of the LO pdf-export with PPC. The images on the top of the document are missing.

This is a bug on PowerPC machines which persists for all versions of LibreOffice. It may be a part of the already solved bug on PPCs displaying jpeg-images in LO. If you choose the PDF Option "JPEG compression" which is selected as default, the embedded images in the exported document disappear.

Please be advised that according to https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleaseNotes/4.1 support for Mac OS X for PowerPC in LibreOffice 4.1 has been dropped.
LibreOffice 3.6.x End of Life is sheduled for August 15, 2013.
LibreOffice 4.0.x End of Life is sheduled for November 21, 2013.
See https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleasePlan for details.

Therefore this bug is a potential WONTFIX.
