The attached document has a textured background that unfortunately does not open in LibreOffice, tested with 4.0 as well. The background shows up white, and the font is white so the slides look empty. Attaching shot of Libre vs Office along with the file.

Saving this pptx file as pptx or odt result in a loss of data and we are convinced that this bug affect many (not most) users. I also tested this using LibreOffice master Version 4.1.0.0.alpha0+ (Build ID: 9a39ae6d2d1eb1443bee95232c6b045d60f9052). Bug still exist. black textured backgound is back in 4.1.4.2 (Win7 64bit) it was not shown in 4.0.6.2 bug has been fixed meanwhile. I mark this as RESOLVED WORKSFORME
