Description Rainer Bielefeld Retired 2013-02-13 16:48:10 UTC
Steps how to reproduce with server installation of "Version 4.1.0.0.alpha0+ (Build ID: 576da8db5577f84d9c7e0e40ef3e166a7938c98) TinderBox: Win-x86@6, Branch:master, Pull Time: 2013-02-11_23:54:45" ENGLISH UI / German Locale on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) with own separate User Profile:

1. Open Attachment 67259 [details] for Bug 46393
2. Print
Expected: top border of cell B4 sown with same withs as right border of same
             cell
Actual: only a very thin pale grey top border shown

Looks very similar in PDF export.

Because that PDF zoom is not available for prints I did a print on Samsung CLX-3185, there situation is completely different to my PDF prints, top and right print are visible

So the question is whether we have a bug here concerning that particular line at all?
Comment 1 Rainer Bielefeld Retired 2013-02-13 16:51:05 UTC
Hm, because that is not a problem with a real print, my PDF-print problem might be a DUP of "Bug 40289 - PDF export : thin top table border disappear for particular zooms"?

I have the problem with real print. Printed on Lexmark E260dn from Win7 64bit and scanned with 300dpi resolution.

Marking as NEW as Timur has confirmed the issue. Is this a regression?

Difficult to say. For the sample document, saved from 3.6, print looks perfect with Server Installation of "LibreOffice 3.3.3 German UI/Locale [OOO330m19 (Build:301) tag libreoffice-3.3.3.1] on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) (Printed with Samsung CLX-3185FN).

Later Versions (next one I tested: 3.4.5, I think we got the new border dialog design) show problems with missing borders in Printout, it seems every version other problems. So might be teething trouble with a new feature?

Dear Rainer Bielefeld Retired,

To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year.

There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present.

If you have time, please do the following:

Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/

If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice.

If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice.

Please DO NOT

Update the version field
Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker)
Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not
appropriate in this case)

If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so:
1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

2. Test your bug
3. Leave a comment with your results.
4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';
4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword

Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat: https://web.libera.chat/?settings=#libreoffice-qa

Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone!

Warm Regards,
