I would love to be able to find and delete (or replace) -notes -images -frames -page/sections/column breaks -and all the others writer special elements that at the moment are not selectable with the standard find and replace. Thank you Operating System: Windows 7 Version: 4.0.0.3 release
Thank you for reporting this enhancement request! I can confirm that this is a valid enhancement request on: Version 4.1.0.0.alpha0+ (Build ID: b514f0ce86e85d9be269ddf2e797befbbf3423f) Date: Thu Mar 7 21:46:30 2013 +0200 Platform: Bodhi Linux 2.2 x64 + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + As I've been able to confirm the enhancement request I am marking as: New (confirmed) Enhancement Medium (think that this could be quite useful for many people who use these types of additional features in Writer. Implementation could be quite difficult depending on what is being searched for, not even sure how you could search/replace an image but I'll leave that for developers). Also, please note that searching for Notes (I assume this is "comments" is possible). Ctrl + h -> more options -> Comments (check) + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + LibreOffice is powered by a team of volunteers, every bug is confirmed (triaged) by human beings who mostly give their time for free. I just found this extension: http://extensions.libreoffice.org/extension-center/alternative-dialog-find-replace-for-writer that does a lot of what I want. I think this should just become integral part of LibreOffice.
Same problem, but the extension doesn't work for me.
Replacing in footnotes and endnotes works so adjusting summary.
